Sheila Majid : The Concert Kuala Lumpur 2017

Happy new week!! Weekend ended perfectly when I got the opportunity to watch Sheila Majid : The Concert Kuala Lumpur 2017 at Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur.

Back to Stadium Negara, Sheila Majid : The Concert Kuala Lumpur 2017 was her forth concert held at the same stadium, last Saturday, 5th August 2017. The last time Sheila graced the stage Stadium Negara was back in year 1999 with Konsert Ku Mohon. Tickets were SOLD OUT! 4,000 people were seen at the Concert. Audience started to fill the stadium as early as 6:30pm.

Sheila started her performance with Pengemis Muda, the song which witnessed the emergence of Sheila in the music industry 32 years ago.

Hey .. Si Pengemis Muda. Apa rahsiamu. Apakah maksudmu itu

Tentu ada sesuatu. Apakah yang kau cari, dariku ..

Trust me that I still remember every bits of the lyrics as I grew up with Sheila's song. Dari suara Sheila di zaman anak dara lagi sehingga lah sekarang anak perempuan Sheila pulak dah anak dara, Misz-ella tetap peminat Sheila!

Continued with Embun, Di dalam Emosi Ini, Tua Sebelum Waktunya, Gerimis, Kepergian mu/Di Suatu Persimpangan, Ratu, Wanita, Ku Mohon, Jentayu, Gemilang and many more, Sheila control the stage perfectly ~ The audience were entertained .. danced and sang along with her.

Sheila also entertained the audience  with songs from her latest album : Boneka. Accompanied by Tophati Ario Hutomo, the most famous jazz guitarist in Indonesia who is also a songwriter for part of the songs in Boneka, Sheila delivered Kerinduan, Ku Nanti, Melukis Dunia, Haruskah Ku Pergi and Boneka.

Throughout her 2.5 hours Concert, Sheila appeared in three couture from her favourite designer, Michael Ong.

Sheila also presented a special tribute to the late Tan Sri P. Ramlee with Bila Larut Malam, Aduh Sayang and Jelingan Manja.

With 40 songs in more than 2.5 hours performance, Sheila ended the Concert with Sinaran, 'lagu wajib yang dinanti-nantikan peminatnya' ..
